Israeli forces abducted two Palestinian young men in the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, on Friday, attacked Palestinian farmers, and abducted four activists in the town of Battir, west of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the Qalandia refugee camp, on Friday morning, and abducted the young men, Qassem Tayeh and Malek Matar, after breaking into and searching their homes in the camp.

Meanwhile, illegal Israeli colonizers, under the protection of the occupation army, attacked Palestinian farmers, on Friday, and abducted four activists in the town of Battir, west of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.

Ghassan Alian, one of the landowners, told the WAFA News Agency that the settlers and soldiers attacked Palestinian olive pickers and activists from the “Fighters for Peace” movement, and abducted four activists.

Alian added that occupation forces fired concussion grenades at citizens and assaulted many farmers who were harvesting their olives, causing injuries, abducted four unidentified activists, and forced farmers to leave their own lands.


Jamil Al-Qassas, the Palestinian coordinator of the “Fighters for Peace” movement, who said that “We are here to provide assistance to the Palestinian landowners and strengthen their steadfastness,” and added that they will “continue the peaceful popular resistance against the Israeli occupation everywhere until this occupation ends.”

In related news, a group of illegal Israeli colonizers attacked Palestinian farmers, on Friday afternoon, and expelled them from their own land in Hizma town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

Media sources said that settlers from the “Adam” settlement, built on stolen Palestinian lands of the village of Jaba’, attacked the Abu Helou family while they were picking olives on their own land, and forced them to leave.
