On Monday, Israeli forces continued their military offensive in the northern West Bank city of Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp for the 56th consecutive day, causing unprecedented destruction and the displacement of thousands of Palestinian citizens.

WAFA correspondent reported that military reinforcements continue to be pushed towards the city and its camp, including tanks, armored vehicles, and water tanks, amid the flight of reconnaissance drones.

Media sources said that occupation tanks and armored vehicles continue to besiege the Jenin refugee camp, while bulldozers raze the streets, and the sound of artillery fire from tanks could be heard near the “Return Roundabout”.

According to a statement by Jenin Mayor, Muhammad Jarrar, the number of Palestinian civilians forcibly displaced from the Jenin refugee camp has risen to 21,000, with approximately 25% of the population displaced, and an increase in the incidence of poverty as a result of the Israeli aggression against the city and its camp.


For his part, Mamdouh Assaf, the director of the Jenin Municipality said that occupation forces have destroyed 100% of the Jenin refugee camp, including citizens’ homes, 85% of the streets in the city, and at least 8,000 commercial establishments.

Sources added that on Monday morning, the army invaded the town of Ya’bad, west of the city, and roamed the streets; no protests or arrests were reported.

Since January 21, 2025, Israeli forces have continued to conduct a large-scale military siege and offensive against the Jenin refugee camp, the city of Jenin, and surrounding towns and villages.

Israeli forces have killed 34 Palestinians, wounded dozens more, and abducted many others, in addition to destroying 120 homes and vital infrastructure in the city and its camp.

On Sunday, an Israeli warplane targeted a site near the Khalid Ibn Al-Walid Mosque in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin city; no injuries were reported.

Also on Sunday, the army invaded the village of Jalboun, east of Jenin, storming several citizens’ homes, and occupying a number of them converting them into military barracks.

Sources added that Israeli forces invaded the town of Qabatiya, south of the city, the village of Bir al-Basha, to the southwest, and the town of Ya’bad to the west; no arrests were reported.
