The Health Ministry reports that the cumulative death toll in the devastated Gaza Strip has climbed to 71,851 Palestinians killed and 171,626 wounded since 7 October 2023.

In the past 24 hours, hospitals across Gaza received 27 bodies and 18 injured, though medical teams warn that the real toll is higher.

Many victims remain trapped beneath collapsed buildings or lie in streets that rescue crews cannot reach due to ongoing military operations, destroyed roads, and the lack of safe access for ambulances and civil defense teams.

Since the declared “ceasefire” on October 11, 2025, Gaza’s hospitals have recorded 574 killed, 1,518 injured, and 717 bodies recovered from under the rubble.

Health officials emphasize that these figures represent only those who reached medical facilities.

The number of missing remains unknown, and many neighborhoods remain inaccessible due to the scale of destruction.

Doctors and emergency workers say the health system is operating far beyond its limits. Hospitals continue to function with severe shortages of fuel, medical supplies, and staff, while repeated Israeli military strikes have damaged or destroyed dozens of medical facilities.

Civil Defense teams report that they are unable to respond to many calls for help. Entire residential blocks have been flattened, and the lack of heavy equipment has forced rescuers to dig through rubble by hand.

Humanitarian conditions continue to deteriorate. The ongoing bombardment has displaced hundreds of thousands of people, many of whom are sheltering in overcrowded schools, makeshift tents, or the ruins of their homes.

Aid agencies warn that the combination of displacement, hunger, and the collapse of basic services has created conditions that threaten to push the civilian population into an even deeper catastrophe.
