Israeli Police arrested a 17-year-old Palestinian nonviolent activist in al-Ma’sara village Wednesday evening.Saddam Ala Ed-Deen, 17, is active in the nonviolent movement and resistance against the Annexation Wall in the village.
The Popular Committee Against the Wall stated that Ala’ Ed Deen was kidnapped while walking in one of the streets of the village, and was moved to the Etzion detention center and military base, south of Bethlehem.
Al Ma’sara, as well as several villages and towns in the West Bank, holds weekly nonviolent protests against the Annexation Wall. International activists also participate in the protests.
Israel uses excessive violence against the protestors and fires gas bombs, rubber-coated bullets and even live rounds at them, and repeatedly sprayed them with toxins and harmful chemicals.
