Israeli forces killed a Palestinian young man on Thursday night, at the Shu’fat military roadblock, north of occupied Jerusalem.
The Jordanian Roya News reported that occupation forces shot a Palestinian young man in the leg with live rounds, before abducting him at the Shu’fat military roadblock.
It added that soldiers at the military roadblock opened fire directly at an unidentified young man and proceeded to abduct him, according to Hebrew sources, who claimed that the youth was “not complying with the soldiers’ orders”.
The WAFA News Agency reported that Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian young man with live ammunition while he was passing through the Shu’fat military roadblock.
It added that the occupation forces left the injured young man lying on the ground, without summoning medical aid.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the wounded young man succumbed to his injuries; the identity of the young man was not known at the time of this report.
In related news, Israeli forces stormed the town of Bir Nabala, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, on Thursday night, firing tear gas canisters at citizens; no injuries were reported.
Since the beginning of the year, Israeli soldiers and illegal colonizers have killed 82 Palestinians, including 22 children and 6 women in the occupied West Bank.
Among those, 20 have been killed in Ramallah, 19 in Hebron, 14 in Nablus, 9 in Jerusalem, 6 in Tubas, 5 in Jenin, 3 in Bethlehem, 2 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, 2 in Qalqilia, 1 in Salfit and 1 in Tulkarem, according to the Shireen Observatory.
Earlier Thursday, occupation forces shot and killed Mahmoud Hussein Hamdan Abu Samra, 20 and Mohammad Samer Mohammad Mleitat, 16, and confiscated their bodies, after settlers attacked the town of Beit Furik, southeast of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
Palestinian police officer, Yazan Fakhri Sawafta, 25, was killed by Israeli soldiers after an alleged stabbing near the Haddad roundabout, east of Jenin in the northern West Bank, and his body was confiscated.
