Israeli airstrikes across several areas of the Gaza Strip from Wednesday night through the day on Thursday killed at least eight Palestinians and wounded 35 others, according to sources in Gaza hospitals.
Medical sources reported that the staff of the Palestinian Red Crescent Hospital provided medical services for 10 injuries, in addition to receiving the body of one civilian who was killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted the Yarmouk area in the center of Gaza City.
The sources added that one deceased and a number of injured people arrived at the Shifa Hospital, west of Gaza City, as a result of an Israeli occupation drone bombing a group of citizens with a missile in the town of Jabalia, in the north of the Gaza Strip.
These casualties followed overnight airstrikes that killed six and wounded 25 in several parts of the Gaza Strip.
A girl child and adult man who were killed overnight were taken to Al-Aqsa Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, after Israeli occupation aircraft bombed a tent housing displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Another killed child and a number of injured people also arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital as a result of an Israeli missile strike that targeted a residential apartment opposite the municipality of Al-Bureij in the central Gaza Strip.
The sources indicated that six citizens were injured, including several seriously, as a result of Israeli warplanes bombing a residential apartment near Al-Mamouniya School in the Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City.
Also Thursday, Israeli artillery targeted Al-Nuseirat refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip. In addition, an Israeli airstrike targeted a house east of Al-Bureij refugee camp, central Gaza Strip.

In the latest act of collective punishment and targeting of journalists and their families, last night in An-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza strip, Israel threatened the family of slain Al Jazeera journalist Mohammad Washah and ordered them to leave their home within five minutes before destroying it.
The home belonged to Washah, who was killed on April 8, 2026, when an Israeli drone strike targeted the vehicle he was traveling in along Al-Rashid Street west of Gaza City.
In violation of the ceasefire agreement, Israeli occupation forces reportedly push the so-called Yellow Line deeper into Salah Al-Din street in central Gaza Strip, further tightening control over the remaining 30% of the land available to Palestinians.
Since October 2023, Israeli genocide on the Gaza Strip have left approximately 60,700 Palestinian children without one or both parents.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, around 52,000 children have lost their fathers, nearly 6,000 have lost their mothers, and at least 2,700 have lost both parents.
Hospitals in the Gaza Strip received six Palestinians killed over the past twenty‑four hours, including four newly recorded fatalities, one person who died from previous wounds, and another whose body was recovered from under the rubble. Medical teams also documented thirty‑four new injuries during the same period.
Many victims remain trapped beneath destroyed homes and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are still unable to reach them due to the ongoing destruction and access restrictions.
Since the “ceasefire” announced on October 11, the cumulative number of Palestinians killed has risen to 1,214, while the total number of recorded injuries has reached 3,977, and the number of bodies recovered from under the rubble stands at 804.
The overall toll since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, has climbed to 73,341 Palestinians killed, while the cumulative number of injuries has reached 174,086.
