The Israeli Police and the Internal Security announced Sunday that three Israeli teenage settlers have been apprehended on suspicion that they are involved in a Molotov attack against a Palestinian car, south of Bethlehem, leading to six moderate-to-severe injuries.The attack took place on Thursday August 16, near the Kfar Etzion Israeli settlement, south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.

A cab driver, a father, mother and their children, from Nahhalin town, near Bethlehem, suffered moderate to severe wounds. The Arabs48 news website reported that the suspects’ ages are 12 – 13.

The medical condition of Eman, 5, and her brother Mohammad, 6, improved and they were sent back home to Nahhalin village, near Bethlehem, the Arabs48 news website reported.

The Israeli Police said that two of the suspects were apprehended from a school in Jerusalem, while the third was apprehended at a different location. All of them are from the Beit Atin settlement; the attack took place close to its entrance.

On Sunday, the three were sent to the juvenile section of the Jerusalem District Court, for a renewal of their remand as they are still under interrogation.
