Israeli soldiers abducted, on Thursday at dawn, two young Palestinian men, in the northern West Bank governorates of Jenin and Nablus, after the army invaded many homes and searched them, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported.

The Jenin office of the PPS said the soldiers abducted Tha’er Osama Mansour, 20, from his home in the al-Jalama village, north of Jenin.

It added that the soldiers also invaded Jilqamous village, northeast of Jenin, before breaking into the home of a former political prisoner, identified as Abdul-Basset al-Hajj Yahia, and interrogated him.

The soldiers also installed many roadblocks on roads leading to several villages and towns in Nablus, stopped and searched many cars, and examined the ID cards of many Palestinians while interrogating them.

In addition, the soldiers invaded homes in Einabous village, near the northern west Bank city of Nablus, and abducted lawyer, a former political prisoner, identified as Mohammad Allan.

It is worth mentioning that the detained lawyer held a 65-day hunger strike last year, protesting his illegal Administrative detention without charges or trial, and was released in November of 2016.

On Wednesday at night, the soldiers invaded several homes in Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, searched many homes and confiscated cash and checks, in addition to firing gas bombs at homes, causing many residents to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.
