A medical source at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, in Hebron, reported, on Tuesday at night, that a child from Beit Ummar village was killed after being struck by a settler’s car, near the Karmi Tzur settlement.
The child, Mousa Jamal al-Alamah, 14 years old, died of severe injuries sustained after the speeding settler rammed his car into him at 10 pm on Tuesday, on the Hebron-Jerusalem road, east of the village.
Palestinian security said it is probing the incident.
The Israeli army transferred the body of al-Alamah to Gush Azion settlement, north of Beit Ummar, and apprehended the driver, an Israeli military source reported.
