Israeli soldiers surrounded and invaded the northern West Bank city of Nablus on Thursday at dawn.

A local source in the city reported that soldiers searched homes and occupied rooftops, using them as military towers, in the al-Nasser, Hitteen and al-Yasmeena neighborhoods.

Soldiers fired live ammunition while invading the city. One resident was reportedly injured.
