Israeli soldiers closed, on Monday morning, the Gaza coastal road, the only link between north of the Gaza Strip with the south.
An Israeli military source reported that the closure was carried out in order to enable the soldiers evacuate Netzarim settlement.
Three tanks closed the road, barring the residents from crossing, and completely isolated the northern Gaza Strip.
Also, soldiers barred hundreds of Palestinian fishermen from arriving to the coastal area.ÂÂ
In a separate incident, soldiers closed Carni Crossing while troops where shipping out the settlers baggage from the evacuated settlements.
