Two Palestinian policemen were reportedly injured, on Wednesday at night, in a gun fight with resistance fighters in the central Gaza Strip.
The exchange of fire took place west of the Karni Crossing, an Israeli military source reported.  ÂÂ
The Israeli online daily Haaretz reported that two gunmen hurled a grenade at Palestinian police officers while attempting to stop them from approaching the “security fence†which surrounds the Gaza Strip.
