Israeli army troops invadWest Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp, allegedly looking for "wanted people" on Saturday at dawn.
Troops stormed the city and the refugee camp, conducting wide scale house-to-house searches in the area. Soldiers also surrounded the house of Hassan Barghash who is said to be an Islamic Jihad leader in the city, but did not arrests him, local sources reported.
Jeeps circled the town firing sound bombs and tear gas at the residents’ homes before leaving the city in the early hours of the morning. No arrests or injures were reported.
