Israeli army troops invaded the West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp on Thursday morning.

Troops backed up with several armored vehicles stormed the city and its nearby refugee camp firing live rounds and sound bombs.  Soldiers searched several houses including house of Mohamed Thweib, eyewitnesses said.

Thweib said troops forced him and his family out of their home at gun point and searched their house.  The soldeirs remained in the house for almost one hour and half, allegedly looking for wanted people.

Troops caused minor damage to propoerty and ransacked the house befoe they left it.
