The Israeli army invaded the West Bank city of Nablus on Tuesday at dawn and turned the municipality building into an army post.
In addition, local security sources warned that the Israeli army also took positions all over the old town area and the city centre.
Soldiers were smashing car windows and street lights in the streets and shooting randomly at residents’ houses. No injures or arrests were reported, but residents expressed concerns about the soldiers committing revenge attacks on the residents, due to the killing of an Israeli soldier in an explosion caused by local resistance fighters on Monday.
