The Palestinian Authority (PA) in the West Bank city of Ramallah asserted on Thursday that the internal Israeli political developments in Israel are ‘an internal issue’.
Spokesman of the Palestinian Presidency, Nabil Abu Rudaina, stated that the PA always looks forward to the presence of a an Israeli leader who is capable of advancing peace talks, however, ‘ what is going on in Israel will definitely leave a negative impact on such talks’.
The PA’s stance came after Israeli defense minister, Ehud Barak, demanded the Israeli prime minister, Ehud Olmert, to resign from post as the Israeli government’s media advisor, said that Olmert wont quit premiership and that he would keep up undertaking responsibilities.
