Head of the Police department in Dubai, Dahi Khalfan Tamim, stated that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will prevent any Israeli from entering the country, even if they carry foreign passports. His statements came during a press conference on Monday in Dubai.

Tamim stated that any person, who is thought to be an Israeli, even when carrying a foreign passport, will be denied access to the country.

He said that this measure was put in place due to the assassination of Hamas leader, Mahmoud Al Madbouh, and after the UAE determined that the Israeli Mossad is behind the assassination.

Tamim further said that 26 Mossad agents, carrying European and Australian passports, are involved in the assassination of Al Madbouh on January 20.

He said that all investigations revealed that Israel is 99% behind the assassination of Al Madbouh who is believed behind the abduction and the killing of two Israelis in the late 1980’s.

Tamim did not say whether Israeli athletes would be allowed in the country to participate in international sport events held in the UAE, and also did not state how his country would identify a person as an Israeli when this person tries to enter the country using a foreign, non-Israeli, passport.

The Dubai official stated during the International Security Conference in Abu Dhabi that he is sure all suspects are currently in Israel.

He said that the suspects are unlikely to be apprehended while in Israel, but added that they will leave Israel, sooner or later, and would then be apprehended.

Tamim added that his country is cooperating with security devices in more than ten countries in order to determine the whereabouts of the suspects.

He called for sacking the Mossad Chief, Meir Dagan, from his post and described him as a “looser who still operates using the mentality and the tactics of the 1960’s”.
