Israeli Police spokeswoman, Luba Samri, said that the police is still investigating “suspicions that the Sheikh might have encouraged act of disorder” that led to clashes with the Police and the army in the yards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem.

Furthermore, Engineer Mustafa Abu Zahra, head of a committee in charge of maintaining Islamic graveyards in Jerusalem, who was also kidnapped on Wednesday, was not released.
