Several armored Israeli military vehicles invaded on Wednesday morning [June 12 2013] Barta’a Ash-Sharqiyya village, in the Jenin district, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, and demolished a home and a shed.Local sources have reported that several armored vehicles and military bulldozers invaded the village, and demolished a 200 square/foot home that belongs to resident Ahmad Omar Qabha.
Soldiers also demolished a shed that belong to the resident.
The sources added that the army declared the area a closed military zone, preventing residents and journalists from entering of leaving it.
The village has been subject to frequent military invasions and violations, as the soldiers recently demolished nearly 10 sheds near its southern entrance.
The army claims that the properties did not receive construction permits from Israel, and are located outside of the zoning area of the village.
