Local sources have reported Saturday [June 22] that several extremist Israeli settlers of the Bracha illegal settlement, attacked Palestinian shepherds in the southern area of Burin village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus. The settlers then burnt 20 Dunams of Palestinian olive orchards.The sources said that at least 50 marked Israeli settlers attacked the shepherds, an issue that led to clashes between local residents and the settlers.
Israeli soldiers arrived at the scene and fired dozens of gas bombs and rubber-coated metal bullets at the Palestinians; no injuries were reported.
Later on, the settlers burnt 20 Dunams (4.94 Acres) of lands planted with Olive trees, and fled the scene.
On Wednesday at night, a group of settlers hurled stones at a Palestinian car, driving on the Nablus-Qalqilia road; damage was reported but no injuries.
On Tuesday evening, (June 18] extremist settlers attacked the village of Aseera Al-Qibliyya, near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and burnt the room of the guard of the local water storage facility.
