Munther Amira, an activist and member of the Palestinian Return Centre (PRC), told the Palestinian News Network (PNN) that extreme caution prevails in the vicinity of the village of Ein Hejleh, which was opened by Palestinians yesterday to assure that the Jordan Valley is a Palestinian land.Amira told the PNN that Israeli forces informed journalists that they will raid the village at any moment, adding that the young men in the village fought several Israeli attempts to break into the village.
Another activist told the PNN that the occupying forces fired light grenades in the sky, in preparation for the storm, and that a dozens of armed Israeli soldiers are preparing to storm the village.
The occupation forces began to spread into the vicinity of the village from the early hours of the morning, and started imposing security measures after notifying the activists to evacuate the village, until the end of the day.
