Israeli navy attack fishermen in Gaza injuring two and in the west Bank Israeli troops kidnap 16 civilians. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
A Palestinian boy was reported killed on Monday morning at the village of Taluza near the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
Ahmad Hasayika, 16, was stabbed to death by two attackers during a family feud in his village, local sources reported. The two attacker are members of the Palestinian Authority security forces local sources said. The two officers sundered to the police who opened an investigation into the attack.
In other news, Israeli troops invaded on Monday at dawn the village of Al Qoum near the southern West Bank city of Hebron and ordered villagers to remove the power grid there.
According to villagers, the soldiers gave them military orders to remove the 800 meters long power lines supplying the village homes with electricity. The Israeli army claims that the lines are in area C and was installed too close to the separation wall that was built by Israeli on lands confiscated from the villagers.
Moreover, Israeli military invaded on Monday at dawn areas in occupied East Jerusalem, troops searched homes and kidnapped 16 civilians including a number of teenagers. According to local sources homes were searched by Israeli troops in the town of Silwan and Jerusalem’s old city, were 11 civilians were kidnapped including five teenagers.
Moreover, Israeli soldiers kidnapped five Palestinian men as they were leaving Al Aqsa mosque after conducting dawn prayers.
In the Gaza Strip, Two Palestinian fishermen were injured on Monday morning in two separate attacks by Israeli navy targeting Palestinian fishing boats in Gaza territorial waters.
Mohamed Baker, 26, was injured when his boat came under fire by Israeli navy ship near the northern Gaza shoreline. He sustained moderate wounds and was moved to hospital. Few hours later Imad Baker was injured by Israeli navy gunfire at the same location, local sources reported.
Since the truce deal between Palestinian armed groups and Israeli took effect last August, Israeli navy escalated its attacks targeting Palestinian fishermen of Gaza shoreline. According to the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, Israeli have conducted 35 attacks targeting fishermen in Gaza in the month of March alone.
