The Palestinian Detainees’ Committee and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society said in a joint statement that Israeli soldiers abducted, in less than two days, at least 40 Palestinians, including children and former political prisoners.
The statement revealed that the abductions were carried out during massive and violent invasions, especially of homes, in various parts of the West Bank, leading to excessive property damage.
It added that the soldiers also assaulted many Palestinians while searching their homes and property, before moving the abductees to several detention and interrogation facilities.
The statement also revealed that the army abducted more than 10.000 Palestinians, in the occupied West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, since October 7, 2023.
The abductions are part of Israel’s illegal collective punishment policies against the Palestinian people, while Israel continues the ethnic cleansing and genocide of the Palestinians in the destroyed and devastated coastal enclave.
