Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday carried out a series of invasions, assaults, and abductions across the occupied West Bank, including Nablus in the northern West Bank, occupied Jerusalem, Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, and Salfit in the central West Bank, resulting in injuries, home invasions, military roadblocks, and widespread disruptions to civilian movement.

A young man was injured on Tuesday evening in the village of Iraq Burin, south of Nablus, after Israeli soldiers assaulted him during an invasion of the area.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its medical teams transported the 36‑year‑old man to the hospital after he was severely beaten by the soldiers.

In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces invaded the Qalandia refugee camp and the nearby town of Kafr Aqab, north of the city.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported that military vehicles surrounded the perimeter of the refugee camp while additional units invaded Kafr Aqab, firing live ammunition and tear gas in the Airport Street area. No abductions or home invasions were reported during this operation.

In Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces closed two roads leading into the village of Husan, west of the city.

The head of the village council stated that soldiers blocked the eastern entrance in the Al‑Matina area with concrete blocks and sealed the “Krum al‑Sharqa” road with earth mounds. The forces then invaded the village, deploying heavily in the Al‑Shurafa and Al‑Matina neighborhoods.

In Nablus in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the eastern area of the city and broke into homes in the Doctors’ Housing complex, where they abducted a resident identified as Mohammad al‑Asmar. Soldiers searched the home extensively before taking him to an undisclosed location.

In Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces launched a large‑scale evening invasion of the Shweika neighborhood, deploying military vehicles throughout the area, chasing young men, firing stun grenades, and closing the main road to prevent the movement of residents and vehicles. Soldiers forced several shop owners to close their businesses at gunpoint.

At the same time, military vehicles spread across the eastern and western neighborhoods of Tulkarem and the central market area, firing tear gas and stun grenades at residents. Troops also broke into commercial buildings, occupied rooftops, and converted them into military observation points, while live fire continued inside the Tulkarem refugee camp, which remains under a tightened siege.

Israeli forces also invaded the town of Anabta, east of Tulkarem, distributing leaflets threatening residents with abduction. During the invasion and violent searches of homes, the soldiers abducted two siblings in the town.

The invasion comes amid an ongoing escalation in the governorate, where the city and its two refugee camps have been subjected to continuous military offensive for 450 consecutive days.

In Salfit in the central West Bank, Israeli forces closed the entrances to several villages and towns on Tuesday night, using iron gates and military roadblocks.

Local sources reported that soldiers intensified their presence across the governorate, blocking roads, stopping vehicles, and inspecting residents’ identification cards as part of what Palestinians described as a policy of collective punishment.

In related news, a Palestinian child was killed on Tuesday morning, after he was struck by a settler vehicle north of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, and a woman succumbed to injuries she sustained in 2023 during the army’s aggression against the Jenin refugee camp, in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that the child Mohammad Majdi Ahmad Al-Ja’bari, 15, was killed on Tuesday after a settler’s vehicle struck him north of Hebron, and Mrs. Raja Fadl Bitawi, 47, succumbed to injuries she sustained in the Jenin refugee camp in 2023.

In addition, illegal Israeli colonizers killed two Palestinians and injured four others, on Tuesday, after attacking the Al-Mughayyir Boys’ School in Al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.

The Ministry stated that the child and student Aws Hamdi Al-Naasan, 13, and the young man Jihad Marzouq Abu Naim, 35, were both killed and four others injured after being shot with live ammunition.
