Israeli occupation authorities shut down, on Sunday, the commercial and land crossings of the Gaza Strip for one day, in addition to a pretrial closure for Al-Karama crossing in the West Bank, for the Jewish holiday of Shavout.
The Palestinian Borders and Crossings department said that the crossings will be closed for one day.
The Kerem Shalom crossing in southern, Al-Karama commercial crossing and Beit Hanon-Erez crossing will be completely shut down, excepting humanitarian cases via Erez crossing.
Meanwhile, Al-Karama border crossing will be open for travel from 7:30 am until 5:00 pm, Al Ray further reports.
The continued closure of Gaza crossings aggravates the suffering of the population, who have been under an Israeli blockade imposed 10 years ago, impedes free movement and the entry of goods into the Strip.
