On Monday, Israeli soldiers injured dozens of Palestinians during a funeral procession in the Al-Karatina area in Hebron city, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

Media sources said the Palestinians were participating in the funeral and heading to the Islamic graveyard in the Sahla neighborhood when the army invaded the area and attacked them.

They added that the soldiers fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades, causing many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation, cuts, and bruises.

The Israeli army frequently attacks funerals in the Hebron governorate, especially when the mourners need to cross main streets, also used by paramilitary colonizers, to reach the graveyard.

Last year, the soldiers killed a young Palestinian man during the funeral procession of another Palestinian the soldiers killed in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron.
