On Friday evening, Israeli soldiers injured several Palestinians, including three with live fire, in the eastern parts of the Gaza Strip.
Media sources said dozens of Palestinians protested in their lands near the perimeter fence in the eastern parts of the Gaza Strip, denouncing the serious Israeli military escalation in the occupied West Bank and the political detainees in Israeli prisons.
They added that the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and high-velocity gas bombs against the Palestinians in the Malaka area east of Gaza city and Al-Boreij in central Gaza.
Medical sources said the soldiers shot a young man with live fire in the leg and three with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The soldiers also fired gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets at protesters east of Jabalia and east of Khan Younis in the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip; no injuries were reported.
Earlier Friday, the soldiers injured a Palestinian man after the army attacked farmers and residents on their lands near the fence east of the Al-Boreij refugee camp in central Gaza.
On Friday dawn, Israeli navy ships and the army attacked several Palestinian fishing boats in the northern, central parts, and southern parts of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Last Monday evening, Israeli navy ships attacked Palestinian fishing boats with live fire and gas bombs near the shores of the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
On Monday dawn, the Israeli army fired many missiles and shells, targeting several areas in the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip, and alleged it was “retaliating to a shell fired from Gaza.”
The attacks are part of constant Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermen, farmers, shepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.
In March of 2021, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said Israeli mines were responsible for an explosion that led to the death of three fishermen.
