Israeli soldiers shot, on Saturday, seven Palestinians and abducted three, including two women, in several towns near Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the West Bank.

A large army force stormed, on Saturday morning, town of Bala’a, northeast of Tulkarem, and positioned sharpshooters on the rooftop of a tall building.


Local Palestinians protested the incursion, while soldiers fired barrages of live fire, shooting a young men in the leg; he was subsequently transported to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarem.


It was added that the army detonated the door of a commercial shop, searched and ransacked the shop and abducted its owner, Fadi Shawkat Omair, in addition to invading and searching a kindergarten building.


Meanwhile, east of the city, occupation forces invaded ‘Anabta town, which sparked protests among local citizens.

Soldiers fired live rounds and shot three young men, one in the shoulder, and two in the feet; they were all transported to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital.

In the afternoon, the army invaded the town of Zeita, northeast of Tulkarem, while soldiers roamed the streets on foot, stopped and searched vehicles while interrogating their occupants.

Local Palestinians protested the incursion, which soldiers responded to by firing live rounds, and by the evening there were reports of four injuries.

According to medical sources, two injuries arrived at Atil Governmental Hospital, one sustained a shrapnel wound in the face and another in the foot.

At the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital, two young men arrived with live gunshot wounds in the feet.

North of Tulkarem, Israel forces invaded the suburb of Shweika, and abducted two women, one is the wife of a prisoner serving a life sentence, identified as Tahani Ahmed Hassan Nayfeh, in addition to her son’s wife, whose identity was not known at the time of writing this report.
