On Thursday, a group of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked and injured two Palestinian farmers on their lands in Atouf village, east of Tammoun, south of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the colonizers, accompanied by soldiers, invaded Palestinian lands and started forcing the farmers out. They added that the colonizers attacked two farmers, Khader Kayed Bani Odeh and Khader Shehada Bani Odeh.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its medics treated the two Palestinians for cuts and bruises and transferred them to the Turkish Government Hospital in Tubas, where their wounds were described as mild to moderate.
In related news, Israeli forces shot two citizens, including an elderly man, and abducted three young men in several towns and villages in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin.
The soldiers also re-invaded the city of Tulkarem and the Tulkarem refugee camp, in the northwestern part of the West Bank, besieging two hospitals and invading citizens’ homes.
Also, the soldiers invaded the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, south of Jericho in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank, abducted one Palestinian, and assaulted an elderly man.
In addition, the soldiers abducted five citizens, including a young woman and Palestine TV correspondent Ali Dar Ali, from various neighborhoods and towns in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, in the central part of the occupied West Bank, early Thursday morning.
Earlier on Thursday, Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian child, Majed Fida’ Abu Zeina, 16, in the Al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
Earlier Thursday dawn, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a Palestinian car in Tubas, killing six young men and seriously wounding one.
The slain young men have been identified as Mohammad Zakariyya Zobeidi, 21, Ahmad Fawwaz Abu Dawwas, 24, Mohammad Awad Abu Jom’a, 30, Qussai Majdi Abdul-Razeq, 26, Mohamamd Nathmi Abu Gharra, 22, and Ahmad Fawwaz Fayez Abu Dawwas, 22.
Since last Wednesday, August 28, the Israeli army launched a wide-scale offensive on the West Bank, especially the northern parts, killing 40 citizens, including 21 from Jenin Governorate, 8 from Tulkarem, 8 from Tubas, and 3 from Hebron, raising the total number of slain Palestinians in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, to 700.
