Israeli forces killed a Palestinian child and injured two young men, on Saturday, after targeting a group of citizens in the city of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank.
This comes at time when occupation forces have carried out an extensive campaign of killing and destruction in Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp for the 12th consecutive day.
Over the course of the ongoing military offensive, Israeli forces have now killed 20 Palestinian citizens in the Jenin governorate.
Media sources reported that an armed Israeli drone fired a missile at a group of Palestinians, on Saturday afternoon, in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin city, killing the child, Ahmad Abdel Halim Al-Saadi, 14, and injuring two young men.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported a slain teen and two injured young men to hospital following the airstrike.
Meanwhile, a short time later, a large army force invaded the eastern neighborhood in Jenin city, after bombing the area and killing the child, and injuring two men.
Media sources said that on Saturday, the 12th consecutive day of its military onslaught, heavy machinery demolished three homes and continued to destroy the infrastructure in the Jenin camp, while the army maintains it forces in the city and its camp.
The Mayor of the city, Mohammad Jarar, indicated that approximately 200 civilian homes have been demolished, and many others have been burned by occupation forces.
Sources said that the destroyed homes are concentrated in the Al-Damj, Abdullah Azzam, and Al-Bishr neighborhoods in the Jenin refugee camp.
Israeli forces caused extensive devastation in the Al-Damj neighborhood and the eastern entrance to the camp, in addition to destroying the streets near the Jenin Governmental Hospital, and obstructing the work of ambulances.
