For the 106th consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces have sustained their military assault on Tulkarem city and its refugee camp, while the Nur Shams refugee camp has been under attack for 93 days, amid escalating field operations that include home invasions, abductions, and forced evacuations.
Update: Israeli occupation forces continue the destructions of homes and buildings in Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, as part of their ongoing assault for the 93rd consecutive day.
Media sources said Israeli bulldozers are demolishing residential buildings in the Al-Jame’ neighborhood, with large explosions heard in the area amid a tight siege on the refugee camp.
This escalation is part of Israel’s plan to demolish 106 homes and buildings in the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, a plan the occupation army announced more than 10 days ago and put into action last week.
In past week alone, Israeli bulldozers have destroyed 15 buildings, including multiple apartments, and obliterated other homes after forcibly displacing their residents and ordering them to leave the refugee camp.
Local sources reported that at dawn on Monday, Israeli forces abducted three Palestinian citizens, Essam Odah, Fadi Salman, and Mohammad Al-Bustami, after storming their homes in the southern neighborhood of Tulkarem and vandalizing their property.
Odah, who serves as the Secretary-General of the National Assembly for Families of Martyrs in Tulkarem, was previously abducted and assaulted earlier this month as part of Israeli efforts to pressure his sone into turning himself in to the military.
His two other sons, Mohammad and Ismail Odeh, remain imprisoned under administrative detention in Israeli jails, without charges or trial.
Israeli forces continue to deploy military reinforcements into the city, with armored vehicles and infantry units patrolling main streets, obstructing civilian movement, and deliberately disrupting traffic by sounding sirens and driving against the flow of traffic.
In the eastern neighborhood of Tulkarem, near Abu Al-Foul district, Israeli forces forced several families from Abu Safiya and Tarabiya extended families to evacuate their homes within a short timeframe. This area has been subjected to repeated forced evacuations in recent weeks.
Additionally, Israeli troops stormed residential buildings near Thannaba Cemetery, east of the Tulkarem, ransacking homes and interrogating residents.
The military escalation continues in Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, where a full blockade remains in place. Residents report frequent explosions and rising plumes of smoke, as Israeli forces intensify their attacks.
In recent days, Nur Shams refugee camp has witnessed widespread demolitions, with Israeli forces razing homes in the neighborhoods of Al-Manshiyya, Al-Maslakh, Al-Jame’, Al-Eyada, and Ash-Shuhada.
The occupation has announced plans to demolish 106 residential buildings across Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, leaving residents bracing for further destruction.
It is worth mentioning that the Israeli army demolished 15 residential buildings in the refugee camp last week, forcing families to evacuate. The forced displacement continues as part of the ongoing military offensive.
Israeli forces have also seized homes and residential buildings along Nablus Street and the adjacent northern neighborhood, converting them into military outposts after forcibly evicting residents.
Some buildings have remained under Israeli military control for over two months, with armored vehicles stationed in their vicinity.
The Israeli military offensive has resulted in the killing of 13 Palestinians, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens more have been injured or abducted, while widespread destruction has affected homes, businesses, vehicles, and infrastructure, with properties demolished, burned, looted, and vandalized.
The forced displacement crisis continues, with over 4,200 families, more than 25,000 people expelled from Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps. More than 400 homes have been destroyed, while 2,573 others have sustained partial damage.
Israeli forces have also sealed off entrances and alleyways with dirt barriers, effectively isolating the camps and erasing signs of civilian life.
Since the beginning of 2025, Israeli occupation forces and illegal paramilitary colonizers have killed 138 Palestinians in the West Bank—among them 24 children and 5 women.
The fatalities are reported as follows: 57 in Jenin, 24 in Nablus, 20 in Tubas, 14 in Tulkarem, 6 in Hebron, 5 in Bethlehem, 3 in Ramallah, 3 in Qalqilia, 3 in Jerusalem, and 2 in Salfit.
In addition, since October 7, 2023, these forces have killed 982 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 187 children, 22 women, 1 journalist, and 2 medics.
The situation in Gaza remains equally dire. Following the resumption of the genocide on March 18, 2025, at least 3,227 Palestinians, including 538 women and 551 children, have been killed, with thousands more injured.
Furthermore, since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed more than 52,810 Palestinians in Gaza, including at least 15,626 children, 9,807 women, 3,855 elderly individuals, 237 journalists, and 23 medics, while over 119,473 people—mostly children, women, and the elderly—have been wounded. Many victims remain trapped under rubble or in areas inaccessible to rescue teams.
