Israeli occupation forces invaded the village of Wadi Rahhal, southeast of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank on Monday, and carried out demolitions targeting vital agricultural infrastructure.
A military unit accompanied by bulldozers and armored vehicles stormed the village and razed two agricultural rooms and two water wells belonging to Palestinian residents Fuad Shusha, Hasan Issa Ahmad Salem, and Salah Badawna.
These demolitions are part of a broader Israeli policy aimed at restricting Palestinian farmers’ access to and cultivation of their lands, particularly in Area C, where Israel maintains full control.
The objective is to facilitate the expansion of illegal Israeli colonies at the expense of Palestinian-owned land surrounding the village.
Wadi Rahhal has faced an ongoing colonial assault for years, marked by the confiscation of large swaths of land and the systematic destruction of agricultural and service structures.
These actions serve the expansion of the illegal colony of “Efrat,” built on lands south of Bethlehem.
