Israeli occupation forces demolished a Palestinian home on Sunday in the town of Shuqba, west of Ramallah in the central part of the occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that soldiers, accompanied by a military bulldozer, invaded the town and began demolishing the one‑story home of Abdullah Abdul‑Ghani Thabet.
The structure, built on an area of one dunam, included living quarters, a swimming pool, and a horse stable. Thabet, who resides in the city of Ramallah, used the home as a weekend residence.
According to the monthly report issued by the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission, Israeli authorities carried out 37 demolitions in April, targeting 78 Palestinian structures.
These included 37 inhabited homes, 34 agricultural structures, and five sources of livelihood.
The highest number of demolitions occurred in occupied Jerusalem, where 29 structures were destroyed, followed by 22 in the Ramallah and Al‑Bireh district, and 10 in Bethlehem, with additional demolitions recorded in other governorates.
The report also documented 21 demolition notices issued during the same period. These were concentrated in the Hebron district with 15 notices, followed by three in occupied Jerusalem, two in Jenin in the northern West Bank, and one in Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank.
