Israeli forces demolished, on Thursday, two structures belonging to a Palestinian citizen in the village of Faqqu’a, northeast of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that occupation forces demolished a poultry barn and a blacksmith workshop belonging to Muhammad Abdel Karim Abu Hamid Abu Al-Asal.
The owner of the structures stated that soldiers did not allow him to remove the contents of the workshop, which resulted in a financial loss of 230,000 shekels.
He added that the poultry barn was 50 square meters in size while the workshop was 500 square meters.
In related news, Israeli forces handed a military order for the seizure of 29 dunams of Palestinian-owned land in the towns of Sinjil and Turmus’ayya, northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
According to Amir Daoud, the Director of Publishing and Documentation at the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority, Israeli authorities ordered that the land will be under the control of the occupation until the end of 2026.
The pretext used for the expropriation of privately-owned land is for purported “security”, in order to put up a fence between the two towns which will result in the residents losing access to the main Ramallah-Nablus road that lies between them.
