Israeli forces executed a Palestinian young man, on Wednesday, after invading his family’s home in the village of Jit, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources reported that occupation forces stormed the home of the young man, Jassem Ibrahim Sedda, 20, at dawn Wednesday, shooting him with several live rounds while he was asleep in his bed.

Sedda’s family told the WAFA News Agency that the army invaded the village at dawn, storming several citizens’ homes, including their family home.

They added that soldiers initially confiscated the body of the slain young man, before releasing it to a Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance crew.

The PRCS reported that its ambulance crew transported the body to the Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital in the city of Qalqilia.

In related news, Israeli forces killed the young man, Mahmoud Faisal Kharraz, 32, and injured six others, including one seriously in the northern West Bank city of Nablus.


At dawn Tuesday, Israeli forces killed the young man, Mohammad Yahya Mousa Jalayta, 20, after invading the city of Jericho, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces have killed 149 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 26 children and 5 women, according to the Shireen Observatory.

Occupation forces have killed 57 Palestinians in Jenin, 26 in Nablus, 25 in Tubas, 14 in Tulkarem, 6 in Hebron, 5 in Bethlehem, 4 in Ramallah, 4 in Jerusalem, 4 in Qalqilia, 3 in Salfit, and 1 in Jericho.

In the Gaza Strip, the overall death toll since October 7, 2023 has increased to 54,056, including women and children, while at least 123,129 Palestinians have sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of Israel’s military onslaught.
