Israeli forces killed a Palestinian young man on Tuesday morning, after an alleged stabbing attempt at a military roadblock west of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.
The General Authority of Civil Affairs informed the Ministry of Health that the young man, Mohammad Rizq Ibrahim Hamash, 28, was killed by Israeli forces’ bullets near Bethlehem on Tuesday morning.
Media sources said that an Israeli soldier shot and killed the young man stationed at the “Tunnels” military roadblock, west of Bethlehem, under the pretext that he attempted to carry out a stabbing.
The Israeli forces have intensified their attacks in the occupied West Bank, in recent hours, with reports of Israeli forces killing four young men in Tubas and five more in Jenin city and two others west of Jenin.
