On Monday, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man and abducted nine citizens in the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah and Al-Biereh, including two women and five citizens of the Gaza Strip.

Media sources said that occupation forces invaded, on Monday afternoon, the the village of ‘Arura, northwest of Ramallah in the central West Bank, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.


Sources added that the army opened fire with live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters, shooting a young man in the foot with live ammunition.

Soldiers detained the young man, Ahmad Abdel Wahab, 18, before assaulting him and subsequently releasing him.

Meanwhile, the army abducted eight Palestinians including five citizens of the Gaza Strip and a young woman, in the Ramallah and Al-Biereh governorate.

Media sources said that at dawn Monday, Israeli soldiers abducted the citizens, Hadi Al-Ramahi and Qusay Al-Ramahi in the Al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah.

Meanwhile, after storming the village of Kharbatha al-Harithiyya, northwest of the city, Israeli forces abducted a female Birzeit University student identified as Wafa Nimr.

Sources added that the army invaded a hotel in the city of Al-Biereh, and abducted five citizens of the Gaza Strip whose identities were not known at the time of writing this report.


Furthermore, occupation forces abducted a young woman at the Karama border crossing, east of Jericho in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation soldiers abducted the female activist, Hadeel Shatara, a citizen of the Ramallah governorate, while she passed through the Karama border crossing between Palestine and Jordan.

In the evening, Israeli forces invaded the village of Abwein, northwest of Ramallah, triggering protests among local Palestinian youths.

Media sources said that occupation soldiers fired live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters; no injuries were reported.
