On Thursday evening, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian at the main entrance of Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

The army said its soldiers opened fire at the Palestinian, in his twenties, after he reportedly “hurled a Molotov cocktail” at their concrete-fortified military tower.

After shooting the young man who suffered moderate wounds and received the needed treatment, dozens of soldiers invaded Beit Ummar looking for him.

The soldiers initiated massive searches in the town but could not find the wounded young man.
