On Friday, Israeli soldiers shot a young Palestinian man with live fire in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Local media activist Mohammad Awad said dozens of Palestinians held a nonviolent procession, demanding the release of the corpses of several Palestinians, killed in many Israeli attacks.

Awad added that the soldiers shot a young man with a live round in the right thigh before the medics rushed him to a hospital in Hebron.

The soldiers also invaded and ransacked homes, occupied their rooftops to use as firing posts and monitoring towers, and closed the iron gate at the town’s main entrance.

In related news, Israeli colonizers assaulted an injured Nasser Mahmoud Sabateen, 50, while working on his land in Husan village, west of Bethlehem, before Palestinian medics rushed him to a hospital.

The colonizers also caused damage to his car, especially its windows and windshield.

Also Friday, illegal Israeli colonizers cut seventy olive trees in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
