Israeli occupation forces continue their relentless assault on Tulkarem and its refugee camp for the 95th consecutive day, while the invasion of Nur Shams refugee camp has now entered its 82nd day. The military escalation remains ongoing, marked by widespread destruction, forced displacement, and intensified violence.
Overnight and into the early morning, Israeli armored vehicles and foot patrols moved aggressively through the city, obstructing civilian movement and disrupting traffic—particularly at Abu Safiya Junction in the eastern neighborhood, Nablus Street, Shweika Roundabout, and the Thannaba district. Soldiers detained several young men, interrogating them on-site before releasing them.
In Nur Shams refugee camp, eyewitnesses reported that Israeli forces deliberately set fire to a home in the eastern neighborhood behind the schools after midnight, causing a massive blaze that engulfed the house and a nearby vehicle.
Israeli forces also invaded Thannaba, east of Tulkarem, detaining several young, checking their IDs and subjecting them to field interrogations.
At Shweika Roundabout in the northern part of the city, Israeli forces abducted Palestinian youth Adi Srouji from his workplace, later releasing him after physically assaulting him.
Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps remain under heavy military presence, with Israeli forces firing live ammunition and stun grenades while explosions echo intermittently.
The camps are under strict siege, with entrances blocked by dirt mounds. Soldiers continue to storm homes, vandalizing property and forcing remaining residents to evacuate at gunpoint.
Israeli forces maintain a constant influx of reinforcements, deploying additional armored vehicles and infantry units to the city and its refugee camps. The offensive includes live fire, stun grenades, home invasions, and systematic destruction of businesses, with civilians subjected to interrogations, abuse, and abductions.
The military has also seized residential buildings along Nablus Street and the adjacent northern neighborhood, converting them into military outposts after forcibly evicting their residents. Armored vehicles and bulldozers remain stationed in the area.
Since the beginning of the onslaught, Israeli forces have killed 13 Palestinians, including a child and two women—one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens more have been wounded or abducted.
The ongoing offensive has forcibly displaced more than 4,200 families—over 25,000 people—from Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, along with hundreds of residents from the northern and eastern neighborhoods of the city, following the military’s seizure of homes and their conversion into military bases.
The destruction has been extensive, with infrastructure, homes, businesses, and vehicles suffering severe damage. Israeli forces have demolished 396 homes and partially damaged 2,573 others in Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps. Entrances and alleyways remain blocked by dirt mounds, further isolating residents.
