Israeli occupation soldiers invaded Beita town, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part,  destroying property and enforcing a full closure on the town and its surroundings.

Since Wednesday, April 30, 2025, all entrances to Beita, south of Nablus, have been sealed off, while dozens of Israeli military vehicles stormed the area, firing live ammunition at civilians inside their homes.

Soldiers deliberately destroyed rooftop water tanks, damaged municipal infrastructure, and raided dozens of homes, subjecting residents to violent searches and abuse.

Israeli forces also invaded Beita Primary School for Girls, confiscating surveillance cameras and recordings, demolishing the administration building, and deliberately shooting at the school’s water tanks.

Beita Municipality condemned the siege, warning that it is causing severe financial losses for farmers due to the spoilage of agricultural produce that would normally be traded at Beita’s central market.

The blockade has also disrupted food supplies for thousands of residents, effectively shutting down the town’s primary marketplace.

The municipality has called on international humanitarian organizations to intervene urgently to lift the siege, stressing that the blockade is affecting all aspects of life. It has also urged government authorities to take responsibility for addressing the crisis.

In addition, the army closed with earth mounds the entrances of Odala town, south of Nablus, and several streets, mainly agricultural roads, between the farmlands.

In related news, the soldiers continued their relentless assault on Tulkarem and its refugee camp for the 95th consecutive day, while the invasion of Nur Shams refugee camp has now entered its 82nd day. The military escalation remains ongoing, marked by widespread destruction, forced displacement, and intensified violence.

Also, Israeli occupation forces continued their onslaught against the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, for the 101st consecutive day, leading to massive destruction, displacement, death and injuries in the ongoing offensive.
