Israeli soldiers invaded, Friday, Kufur Qaddoum town, in the northern West Bank district of Qalqilia, and attacked the weekly nonviolent protest, leading to clashes and many injuries.
Morad Eshteiwy, the media coordinator of the Popular Committee in Kufur Qaddoum, said the soldiers invaded the town just as the residents started marching, and fired live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
Eshteiwy added that many Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation; especially during clashes that took place after the soldiers assaulted the protesters.
The weekly procession started from the center of the town, as the Palestinians marched carrying Palestinian flags and chanted against the ongoing Israeli occupation and escalating violations.
Last night, several army vehicles, including an armored bulldozer, invaded Kufur Qaddoum, before the soldiers stormed the homes of Mofeed Eshteiwy, Mohammad Amer, and Riyadh Eshteiwy, and violently searched.
