Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale invasion of Nablus and surrounding areas in the occupied West Bank’s northern part at dawn Thursday, deploying armored vehicles across multiple neighborhoods, and breaking into commercial areas, homes, and public institutions.
Update: The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has confirmed that Israeli soldiers shot four Palestinians, including a child, with live rounds, in Nablus.
The PRCS added that three Palestinians were shot in the lower limbs, and a 13-year-old child who sustained a gunshot wound to the torso.
The assault disrupted daily life across the city, leading to the suspension of schools, universities, and municipal services.
Israeli soldiers smashed the doors of shops near the National Hospital on Faisal Street before breaking into them and seizing surveillance footage.
The Old City of Nablus and its surroundings were also stormed, with live ammunition and stun grenades fired near the central roundabout.
Palestinian medical sources have confirmed that Israeli soldiers shot and injured a young Palestinian man, 23 years of age, man near the Rahma Clinic on Faisal Street in Nablus city and added that the young man was shot with a live round in the thigh.
The sources added that the soldiers also shot a young man with a live round in the leg, before the medics rushed him to a hospital.
In addition, the soldiers also abducted several Palestinians outside the National Hospital, which was also entered by occupation forces.

Nablus Governor Ghassan Daghlas confirmed that the military incursion disrupted the functioning of the city’s institutions, leading to the closure of all public and private schools, kindergartens, and An-Najah National University, which postponed exams scheduled for the day.
Daghlas described the invasion of the mosque, the hospital courtyard, and the destruction of commercial property as a dangerous escalation targeting the city’s infrastructure and civilian life.
Simultaneously, Israeli forces invaded the villages of Beita, Urif (south of Nablus), and Beit Furik (east), conducting house-to-house searches and converting homes into field interrogation centers.
Three Palestinians were beaten during home invasions in Beita, and three others — Mohannad Dweikat, Majd Nasser, and Yaqoob Bani Shamsa — were abducted.
In related news, Israeli occupation forces abducted 56 Palestinians, including two women, from Hebron governorate, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, in a wide-scale campaign of raids and abuse.
