Troops attack hunger-striking political detainees and injuries two children and detain civilians during invasions targeting the West Bank. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

Undercover soldiers of the Israeli Prison Authority attacked, on Monday evening, the hunger striking political detainees, held in section 14 of Nafha Israeli prison, and sprayed them with teargas.

Following the latest assault, the detainees in Nafha, and various other prisons and detention centers, have declared they will be stepping-up their activities in support of the striking detainees, while more will be gradually joining the strike.

So far, around 1500 detainees are ongoing with the hunger strike which started eight days ago, while waves of detainees are preparing to join. They are demanding basic, internationally-guaranteed rights, that have been continuously and systematically taken away from them.

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Monday morning, a Palestinian woman, at the Qalandia Terminal, north of occupied East Jerusalem, reportedly after she stabbed and injured a female soldier.

Israeli sources said the woman, in her thirties, is from Taybeh town, near Ramallah, and that she “stabbed a female soldier in the upper body, mildly wounding her.

The soldier, 25, was treated at the scene, before being moved to Hadassah Medical center in Jerusalem.

Earlier, two children were injured, on Sunday evening, after being struck by a speeding Israeli settler’s car, while walking with their parents in Sur Baher town, south of occupied East Jerusalem.

Palestinian sources said that Mohammad Attoun suffered a head wound, while his sister, Nada, suffered several cuts and bruises. An Israeli ambulance was called to the scene, and moved the two children to a hospital for treatment; their condition has been described as stable.

Elsewhere, Israeli soldiers abducted, on Monday at dawn, two young Palestinian men, from their homes, in Sawahra and Abu Dis towns, in Jerusalem governorate, in the occupied West Bank. Moreover, Israeli soldiers invaded, on Monday at dawn, several villages and towns, in the northern West bank governorate of Jenin, searched many homes, and abducted two young men.

In the meantime, Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded, on Monday at dawn, the towns of Beit Ummar and Yatta, in the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron, searched and ransacked many homes, and abducted two young men.
