On Tuesday, groups of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked Palestinian vehicles near Jericho and Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

According to media sources, the colonizers gathered near the Arab al-Mleihat Bedouin community, north of Jericho in the northeastern West Bank, and targeted the car of Suleiman Mleihat.

The colonizers forced Mleihat out of his vehicle, physically assaulted him, and sprayed him with pepper spray, while Israeli soldiers stood by without intervening.

It is worth mentioning that, on Monday, a group of illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers stormed the Arab Al-Mleihat Bedouin community and filmed homes while riding their quadbikes.

In Bethlehem, colonizers assembled near the western junction of Tuqu’ town, southeast of the city, and hurled stones at Palestinian cars, causing damage.

In related developments, Israeli soldiers invaded Marah Rabah village, south of Bethlehem, closing several streets and the village’s main entrance. They also forced shop owners to shut their businesses.

Additionally, soldiers invaded Ethna town, west of Hebron, firing live rounds, concussion grenades, and gas bombs.

Ethna has been under a tight Israeli siege for about a year, with its main entrance permanently closed. The town continues to face daily invasions, violent searches of homes and stores, and frequent forced closures of shops.

Earlier Tuesday, groups of paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked a car repair facility and caused significant damage, in addition to blocking a main road and bulldozing lands, in the Ramallah governorate, located in the central West Bank.

On Monday, a group of Israeli paramilitary colonizers stormed the Arab Al-Mleihat Bedouin community, northwest of Jericho in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
