Israeli soldiers abducted, on Saturday evening, two Palestinian children in the al-‘Isawiya town, northeast of the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
Local sources said the soldiers invaded and searched several homes in the town and interrogated a few Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
They added that the soldiers abducted Mohammad Zakariyya Oleyyan and Mohammad Jamal Oleyyan from their homes and took them to an interrogation facility.
Protests have been ongoing in the town since the soldiers killed a child, identified as Omar Abu ‘Assab, 16, on Wednesday, and refused to allow the transfer of his corpse to his family for a proper burial ceremony.
