On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers invaded the Al-Jiftlik village north of Jericho in the northeastern West Bank and demolished two homes.

Thaer Njoum, a local human rights activist, told Palestine TV that many army vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded the village and demolished the two residential structures.

He added that the two families received demolition orders from the army nearly four months ago and are still in the appeals process.

Njoum stated that Abu So’ud Al-Ka’abna and a political prisoner, Ahmad Abu Falah, own the two homes that were built on their privately owned lands.

In mid-December last year, 2022, the army invaded Al-Jiftlik and demolished four Palestinian homes.

On January 10th, 2023, the soldiers invaded the Dyouk At-Tahta village north of Jericho and demolished a rental Villa and several commercial structures.
