At least one Palestinian man was killed as a result of the Israeli
ongoing shelling at the Gaza Strip on Wednesday morning, Palestinian
sources reproted.
The man was identified as Massad Abu Massiq, 25 from Beit Lahia, in the north of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli sources said the Palestinian resistance fired home-made Qassam shells at the Israeli town of Sderot north west of the Gaza Strip, on Wednesday morning.
The sources said that several Israelis were treated for shock as the Qassam shell hit near a school, however no injuries were reproted.
Maan News Agenecy, said Abu Massiq, is a member of Al-Qassam brigade, the armed wing of the Islamic resistance movement, Hamas.
Palestinian sources said he was killed while facing Israeli soldiers who invaded Tell Qleibu near Beit Lahia, adding that Israeli tank fire targetted an installation for the executive force of the Palestinian Ministry of Interior.
The executive force is a group of around 3000 members of different political factions, but mainly members of Al-Qassam brigade, and it was formed by Hamas after forming the Palestinian government last March.
