Israeli forces conducted a series of violent incursions and abductions across the occupied West Bank on Friday, targeting multiple towns and villages in the governorates of Hebron, Salfit, Ramallah, and Bethlehem.

In the southern West Bank, troops stormed the town of Dura in Hebron Governorate, firing live ammunition, rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas.

Military vehicles roamed residential streets and alleys, triggering panic among residents. No injuries were reported, but several homes were damaged during the invasions and violent searches.

Also, Israeli soldiers abducted a Palestinian youth from Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the southern part of the West bank.

Anti-colonization activist Osama Makhamra stated that the soldiers invaded the village of Khirbet al-Dabe’, seized the keys to the young man’s vehicle, and took him to an undisclosed location.

Earlier Friday, Israeli forces shot and injured a Palestinian and abducted four others in Hebron.

Furthermore, Israeli forces abducted Ahmad Rami Abdul-Jaber Muqadi and two other unidentified youths near the bridge of al-Zawiya town, west of Salfit in the central West Bank, while they were passing through the area.

In Ramallah, in central West Bank, Israeli troops abducted the mother and brother of a slain Palestinian youth during a pre-dawn raid. The family’s home was ransacked, and both were taken to an unknown location.

In Bethlehem Governorate, Israeli forces closed the main entrance to the village of al-Manshiyya with a metal gate, disrupting movement toward the southern countryside. Village council head Khader Abu Diya said the closure severely restricted access for residents and emergency services.

Later that night, Israeli units stormed the towns of al-Khader and Jurat al-Sham’a, south of Bethlehem. Troops deployed near the central mosque in Jurat al-Sham’a, firing tear gas and stun grenades. No injuries were reported.

A military roadblock was also set up, where vehicles were stopped, searched, and passengers’ IDs inspected.

In al-Khader, soldiers positioned themselves in several key areas, including al-Baloa’, the main gate, and the vicinity of the Grand Mosque. The invasion extended to the main road linking the gate to the town’s historic center.

On Thursday, Israeli forces shot four Palestinians, including three children in the governorates of Jenin and Nablus in the northern West Bank, and Hebron.

On Thursday evening, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian man and wounded another in the village of Beit Ur al-Fauqa, west of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced the death of Mohammad Ali Yusuf Shtayyeh, 37, after he was shot by occupation forces, adding that the army confiscated his body.

Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 213 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 39 children and 6 women.
