Israeli occupation forces carried out numerous invasions across multiple areas of the occupied West Bank at dawn on Sunday, abducting many Palestinians from their homes during extensive and violent searches.
In the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron, troops invaded the town of Dura and the nearby village of Beit Ummar, abducting eight residents from the governorate.
In Dura, the military abducted Raed Abd al‑Rahman Abu Za’nouna and brothers Ala’ and Jihad Breiwish.
In Beit Ummar, soldiers invaded several neighborhoods and abducted former political prisoner Wahid Hamdi Abu Mariya (55) and three of his sons — Hamza (32), Mohammad (26) and Khattab (21) — after ransacking their home.
Abu Mariya had been released only three days earlier following two years in administrative detention.
Troops also abducted Bahar Sabarna (45), the father of 16‑year‑old Bilal, who was killed in Beit Ummar; local sources say occupation forces are still holding the bodies of Bilal Baha’ Ali Sabarna (16) and Mohammad Mahmoud Abu Ayyash (15), who were killed on Thursday afternoon.
Meanwhile, illegal Israeli colonizers attacked privately owned property in the area, cutting down productive olive trees and spray‑painting racist slogans on homes belonging to the Idris family in the Khallet al‑Nitish area east of Hebron.
In the northwestern West Bank governorate of Tulkarem, Israeli forces invaded the town of Qaffin before dawn and abducted Khaled Saif Ajjouli after storming and searching his home.
In the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah, soldiers invaded the town of Surda with several armored vehicles, and a separate invasion targeted Deir Ibzi‘ west of Ramallah, where troops deployed across the village with no immediate reports of abductions.
Also in Ramallah governorate, soldiers closed the iron gate leading to Atara, north of Ramallah, forcing Palestinians to take alternate, longer routes.
The closed road is essential, linking Beit Rima, Deir Ghassana, Kafr Ein and Qarawa, and is used by thousands of Palestinians, including many from Salfit in the central West Bank.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded Anata town, north of the city, and abducted Danial Refa’ey from his home.
In the northern West Bank governorate of Qalqilia, troops invaded the villages of Hajjeh and Baqat al‑Hatab and patrolled their streets; residents reported no immediate abductions there.
In the northeastern West Bank city of Jericho, occupation forces invaded the Katef al‑Wadi neighborhood and abducted Khaled al‑Ra’i, a recently released political prisoner, after searching and ransacking his family home.
Medical and emergency teams mobilized across the occupied West Bank to assist affected families.
Community leaders and rights groups warned that the wave of invasions, abductions and settler attacks deepens fears of dispossession, undermines livelihoods, and further restricts movement throughout the occupied territory.
Families whose homes were searched reported property damage and confiscation of personal items, and officials called for documentation of the operations and the return of seized bodies.
